Sarah is a fully qualified and accredited Psychotherapist with the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP). Sarah holds a Masters Degree in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ICHAS) and a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP).
Sarah initially having completed her BA in Social Studies worked for 8 years with teenagers in a residential setting, providing care for vulnerable, at risk young people and managing a mother and baby unit in Dublin city centre.
Sarah has worked therapeutically in the community for the last 10 years specialising in the area of Domestic Abuse in the last 4 years.
Sarah is also trained in Brief Solution Focused Therapy and has completed the ASSIST training.
Sarah is an Integrative Psychotherapist working one on one with adults, couples and teenagers. She has practiced psychotherapy with adults and teenagers for over ten years and provides support to teenagers above the age of 13.
Sarah believes that each client is the expert of their own thoughts, feelings and behaviours and with the use of an Integrative psychotherapy approach she can help her clients gain awareness, acceptance and make positive changes in their lives to bring them to a place where they feel they want to be.
